This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Receive a go-to-market hypothesis and convert it into a detailed list of target companies and contacts.
• Utilize tools such as Clay, Apollo, or equivalent platforms to source, filter, and enhance leads.
• Conduct quality assurance on your output: verify contact accuracy, eliminate unsuitable fits, and highlight ambiguous cases with justifications.
• Adjust lists based on insights from the sales team following each experiment run.
• Document your approach for each hypothesis to ensure lists can be reproduced without starting from scratch every time.
• Recommend enhancements to hypothesis definitions when you identify patterns in the data.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with Clay, Apollo, or similar tools — not merely familiarity.
• Proficient in extracting and merging data from various sources: Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clearbit, Crunchbase, funding databases, and intent data providers.
• Strong discernment regarding what constitutes a good fit — prioritizing quality over quantity.
• Solid grasp of the VC-backed startup landscape (funding stages, hiring signals, growth indicators) and mid-market enterprise purchasing dynamics.
• Capable of working from a vaguely defined hypothesis and posing the right clarifying questions to refine it.
• Experience in sales research, SDR, or data enrichment at a B2B SaaS company is preferable — does not need to be a full engineer.
• Option to broaden scope or transition to a retainer after 90 days.
• Full-time position if there is mutual compatibility.
