This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Offer facilitation support and general assistance services to the Hanford Advisory Board (HAB)
• Coordinate and disseminate all HAB meeting schedules, agendas, and work plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Sustain open and continuous communication with agency representatives
• Prepare and circulate the HAB Annual Report as requested
• Support Ecology’s Annual HAB/Public Involvement Survey and provide the results of the survey
• Manage a HAB library in accordance with FACA guidelines
• Oversee and assist in implementing administrative procedures as established by the Board
• Recent consecutive employment in a role with similar responsibilities within the last five (5) years
• Must be proficient in using a computer for email communication; and skilled in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and relevant tools and technologies required for the position
• Work outputs must be comprehensive, precise, appropriately documented, and adhere to established standards
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
• Experience managing diverse interests and contentious issues
• Proven experience in facilitating groups of varied stakeholders to achieve consensus decisions
• Certified Professional Facilitator (preferred)
• Experience working with tribal, state, and federal stakeholders (preferred)
• Knowledge of environmental law, particularly the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) (preferred)
• Familiarity with the tri-party agreement and applicable treaties, including the Treaties of 1855, as well as the rights and recognition of Tribal trustees as sovereign nations with traditional cultural interests in the landscapes and resources at the Hanford Site (preferred)
• Ability to identify any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors
• U.S. Citizenship is required - You must be a United States Citizen
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
• All ProSidian staff must be deemed eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also known as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office
• May be required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement
• Must be capable of undergoing and qualifying for various levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance
• Occasional travel may be necessary to attend meetings, events, site visits, or training sessions. Travel is organized with the technical point of contact and must receive prior written approval from the Contracting Officer, in compliance with Federal Travel Regulations
