This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Actively participate in the creative team and take ownership of concept and copy development for projects with varying levels of complexity and scope.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently by multitasking and delegating tasks as necessary.
• Generate innovative ideas while overseeing several projects simultaneously.
• Serve as a liaison between creative members and senior account team members.
• Ensure that deliverables align with strategic, business, and creative objectives.
• Present advanced presentations and advocate for creative work in external settings.
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and support to the copy team to foster career growth.
• Show a dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continual development, inclusive practices, and proactive management of biases.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of copywriting experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field is necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising within an agency environment is required.
• Proven success in creating content and innovative concepts for social media, digital marketing, and integrated omnichannel campaigns.
• Strong grasp of channel-specific best practices and strategies for audience engagement is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in developing both branded and unbranded direct-to-consumer (DTC) pharmaceutical content.
• Experience in writing for healthcare professionals (HCP) is an advantage.
• Preferred experience in pulmonology and/or allergy.
• Strong conceptual thinking skills with the ability to translate strategy into engaging social, digital, and customer-focused creative ideas.
• A portfolio that highlights social media and digital marketing work, showcasing the ability to convert complex scientific and marketing information into compelling, patient-centered narratives.
• Proficiency in interpreting clinical and scientific data and crafting medically accurate, strategically aligned content across digital platforms.
• Experience in managing complex projects and collaborating with account, creative, strategy, and cross-functional teams.
• Confident in client communication, presentations, creative selling, discussion facilitation, and building relationships.
