GRC/Compliance Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Assist an external software development organization as a member of Inviso’s delivery team.

• Design and implement AI capabilities across an enterprise platform.

• Create agent runtimes, model routing, RAG, tool/function calling, guardrails, evaluation, monitoring, cost management, latency optimization, and quality controls for production.

• Deliver AI capabilities that are operational in production environments rather than just demonstrations.

• Transition AI systems from prototypes to supervised production.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of AI behavior.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to assess the appropriateness of AI applications.

• Transform experiments into features ready for production.

• Integrate evaluation discipline into the delivery workflow.

• Assist client teams in making informed choices regarding the genuine value AI can offer.

• Travel as necessary to meet client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering software utilizing LLMs, ML models, RAG systems, or agentic workflows to actual production users.

• Background in designing or implementing agent runtimes, orchestration, model routing, tool/function calling, or AI workflow patterns.

• In-depth understanding of RAG, grounding, retrieval quality, prompt design, context management, and evaluation methodologies.

• Experience in creating evaluation harnesses, golden sets, regression checks, quality gates, or measurable AI performance frameworks.

• Capability to prioritize cost, latency, reliability, and safety as essential engineering constraints.

• Experience in establishing guardrails and controls for AI systems, including managing untrusted retrieved content, tool output risks, and failure modes.

• Familiarity with monitoring AI behavior in production and enhancing systems based on empirical evidence.

• Strong software engineering expertise.

• Ability to work collaboratively with backend, platform, product, and security teams.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for client-facing consulting settings.

• Pragmatic approach with the ability to prioritize business value and deliver practical AI capabilities swiftly and responsibly.

• Experience with Claude, GPT, Azure OpenAI, open-source models, model routing, fine-tuning, distillation, or small/edge models.

• Familiarity with MCP, A2A, multi-agent orchestration, AI tool calling, or agent evaluation.

• Experience with LLM-as-judge methodologies calibrated against human evaluation.

• Knowledge of semantic knowledge management, ontologies, knowledge graphs, or semantic layers.

• Experience in AI development lifecycle practices encompassing data, build, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Proficient in using AI-assisted development tools while ensuring rigorous review, testing, and safety protocols are upheld.
