This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop, implement, and enhance the organization’s global compliance framework across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Create and uphold policies, standards, controls, governance forums, and reporting routines.
• Direct enterprise-wide compliance risk evaluations and maintain the compliance risk register.
• Establish monitoring, testing, and issue-management processes to identify, escalate, and rectify compliance deficiencies.
• Deliver regular updates to the Head of Legal and the executive team regarding compliance risks, incidents, trends, and remediation efforts.
• Supervise the company’s compliance strategy concerning data protection and privacy regulations — including GDPR and other applicable privacy requirements — in collaboration with Legal and Security.
• Serve as the senior GRC lead for customer due diligence, regulated-sector questionnaires, control assessments, and audit inquiries.
• Develop and manage the compliance components of third-party risk management — encompassing vendor evaluations, subprocessors, outsourcing controls, and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure GRC readiness for external assurance frameworks and certifications, such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related control programs.
• Offer compliance insights into new products, AI-related use cases, commercial initiatives, customer contracts, and market expansion strategies.
• Proven track record in establishing or expanding a compliance or GRC function within an international organization.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within GRC, compliance, risk, governance, or regulatory assurance.
• Background in a B2B SaaS, fintech, regtech, payments, or other technology sectors serving regulated clients.
• In-depth knowledge of privacy, control frameworks, policy governance, audit coordination, and third-party risk management.
• Experience in supporting enterprise customer due diligence and audits.
• Strong judgment and stakeholder management capabilities — comfortable engaging with senior and executive levels.
