Graphic Illustrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and produce high-quality publication materials, such as briefs, fact sheets, infographics, toolkits, report layouts, and templates.

• Collaborate with the Research and Data Analyst to develop data visualizations and infographics.

• Work alongside the Communications Specialist to generate graphics and visual content for social media, webinars, and events.

• Establish and uphold a consistent visual style and template library that aligns with project branding.

• Prepare files for both print and web, ensuring that visual products comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.

• Oversee version control and manage production timelines for design deliverables.

• Integrate client and reviewer feedback throughout the revision processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven professional experience in graphic design and illustration, accompanied by a portfolio showcasing published works.

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• Familiarity with the TANF program and its target audiences.

• Understanding of marriage and family-strengthening topics.

• Competence in designing documents that meet Section 508 accessibility guidelines.

• Ability to convert complex information into clear and engaging visual representations.

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field, or an equivalent professional portfolio.

• At least four years of professional design experience.

• Preferred: experience in design for federal agencies or human-services programs.

• Preferred: specialization in data visualization and infographics.

• Preferred: skills in motion graphics or short-form video production.
