This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +18 more states.
• Transform brand strategies and creative briefs into captivating visual representations.
• Seamlessly transition between high-level conceptual thinking and detailed, production-ready execution.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions by contributing bold and innovative ideas while enhancing others' concepts with a “yes, and” approach.
• Design across all marketing channels (campaigns, digital, e-commerce, social media, OOH, etc.) while maintaining a cohesive and thoughtful aesthetic.
• Balance creativity and practicality by developing and refining multiple design directions simultaneously, pushing past initial ideas to discover the most impactful solutions.
• Sustain and enhance an existing visual brand system across all touchpoints, ensuring coherence and creative vitality.
• Approach design with a strong awareness of how visual elements influence conversions without compromising the brand identity.
• Create campaign visuals that are conceptually sharp and visually striking, ensuring they are not merely well-executed.
• Collaborate closely with copywriters and creative leaders to ensure design and language function together as a unified brand expression.
• Foster a collaborative creative culture that values experimentation and promotes the best ideas, regardless of their origin.
• Clearly present and articulate creative rationales to internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Oversee and guide photographers, retouchers, and external creative partners to uphold visual standards.
• Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers to ensure adherence to the brand's creative expectations.
• Recognize when to exercise restraint in design, balancing expressive creativity with the discipline of knowing when to hold back.
• Adapt to a remote working environment that is dynamic and ever-evolving.
• Work from home and stay connected with your team throughout the day via chat, voice, and video using company-provided equipment, with quarterly in-person meetings at various locations.
• Share your knowledge, expertise, and interests with the team to enrich our fun and progressive culture.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional design experience in brand-focused, digital-first, or high-growth settings.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI.
• Solid understanding of visual design principles such as typography, composition, color, and hierarchy.
• Proven capability to transition from a brief to a compelling big idea and execute it effectively.
• Extensive knowledge of brand development, visual identity systems, and ensuring consistency across multi-channel campaigns.
