This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Perform reviews to ensure the completeness of administrative aspects of grant applications and their supporting documentation.
• Evaluate grant application materials, including budgets, attachments, strategic plans, narratives, and related forms for thoroughness and adherence to administrative standards.
• Input, verify, update, and manage grant application and award information within eGMS and associated tracking systems.
• Draft eligibility analyses, budget assessments, and administrative findings for governmental review and endorsement.
• Assist in peer review processes by aiding with panel organization, reviewer coordination, troubleshooting, and the preparation of necessary panel materials.
• Create spreadsheets, datasets, reports, dashboards, and visualizations that aid in the management of grant programs and funding decisions.
• Analyze interim and final performance reports, documenting administrative findings, compliance issues, and monitoring insights.
• Monitor grantee reporting obligations, overdue submissions, and administrative actions taken.
• Draft correspondence, outreach communications, monitoring templates, and status reports for government review.
• Manage administrative grant modification requests, personnel changes, and maintenance of grant files.
• Support the monitoring and closeout of grants, ensuring meticulous tracking logs and documentation that are audit-ready.
• Detect data discrepancies, anomalies, and missing information, providing recommendations for corrective measures.
• Aid in the preparation of Section 508-compliant documents and materials for public dissemination.
• Uphold confidentiality and securely manage sensitive but unclassified grant information and personally identifiable information (PII).
• Engage in required training related to security, confidentiality, privacy, and grants management.
• Deliver weekly status updates and assist in fulfilling monthly workload and Service Level Agreement (SLA) reporting needs.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in supporting federal grants management operations in compliance with 2 CFR 200.
• Experience in pre-award, post-award, monitoring, compliance, or grants administration roles for a federal agency or federally funded grant program.
• Familiarity with electronic grants management systems such as eGMS or comparable grant lifecycle management platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and Word.
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro and in managing complex PDF documentation.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and data management abilities with a strong focus on detail.
• Capable of independently prioritizing workload, meeting deadlines, and functioning effectively in a remote work setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information in line with federal privacy and confidentiality regulations.
