This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Manage the backend grant pipeline, ensuring funding activities progress without being solely dependent on founder involvement.

• Identify and evaluate potential funding opportunities.

• Keep a well-organized opportunity matrix.

• Create initial drafts of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and proposal responses.

• Monitor deadlines and submissions for multiple applications simultaneously.

• Enhance submission consistency and timeliness, minimize founder review time, and develop reusable draft libraries to ensure scalable grant activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing a comprehensive grant pipeline, from sourcing and qualifying opportunities to drafting support and tracking submissions.

• Proficient in using grant database platforms (e.g., Instrumentl, GrantStation, Foundation Directory) for sourcing opportunities and reviewing eligibility.

• Skilled in Airtable and Google Sheets for creating and maintaining structured trackers and opportunity matrices.

• Demonstrated ability to produce initial drafts of LOIs and grant proposal responses within established workflows.

• Experience in extracting and organizing application requirements (questions, word limits, attachments) into documentation that is ready for review.

• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Calendar) and email/calendar coordination tools.

• C1+ English proficiency (CEFR) for client-facing written communication and summarizing complex grant requirements.

• Previous experience supporting nonprofit or philanthropic grant research, LOIs, or proposal workflows is a plus.

• Familiarity with creating reusable content libraries or response repositories for frequently asked grant questions is advantageous.

• Previous experience working with small, founder-led, or lean teams is a plus.

• Light project management experience in coordinating parallel workstreams is beneficial.

• Awareness of AI-assisted drafting tools (e.g., Gemini) for generating review-ready outputs is a plus.
