This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4–7 District Sales Managers (DSMs) across various geographies and market segments.
• Allocate 50–80% of your time in the field to drive execution, reinforce standards, and provide real-time coaching.
• Set clear expectations, establish operating rhythms, and ensure accountability for results.
• Conduct regular field reviews to enhance both individual and team performance.
• Oversee regional revenue performance and delivery across both farm and commercial segments.
• Exercise authority over discounts and pricing within specified guidelines.
• Balance growth with profitability, ensuring disciplined decision-making processes.
• Ensure effective pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and clear visibility to results.
• Coach DSMs on value-based selling, margin discipline, and prioritizing customers.
• Assess dealer and contractor coverage to identify any gaps, overlaps, and growth possibilities.
• Lead initiatives to recruit, onboard, and cultivate high-performing dealers and commercial contractors that align with strategic needs.
• Collaborate with DSMs to enhance or transition underperforming dealers.
• Drive structured account planning and execution throughout the region.
• Build and nurture relationships with key dealer principals, contractors, and important strategic accounts.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to enhance outcomes.
• Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Over 7 years of sales experience, including leadership of field sales teams.
• Proven track record in managing and increasing revenue through dealer/distribution networks.
• Experience in the agriculture or commercial construction sectors is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in network development, account growth, and leadership in sales territories.
• Strong skills in coaching, communication, and performance management.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with 50–80% of the role being field-based.
