This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support campaign strategy and operations aimed at promoting civil liberties and civil rights through various avenues at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Collaborate with other teams to facilitate the advancement of complex campaigns.
• Contribute to research initiatives and the development of strategic plans for events and campaigns.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, taking notes, and participating in coalition calls.
• Must be a currently enrolled graduate student.
• Proven dedication to public interest law, civil liberties, addressing mass incarceration, and combating racism within the criminal legal system.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage complex operational tasks.
• Outstanding communication skills and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Self-driven with the ability to take initiative, juggle multiple tasks, and follow projects through to completion.
• A stipend is available for students who are legally authorized to work.
• Opportunities can be arranged with educational institutions for work/study or course credit.
• Compensation of $24/hr for graduate and law students or those with equivalent experience.
