Government Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with key project stakeholders and customers/end users to grasp the overarching business vision for a project and convert it into actionable objectives.

• Serve as a communication bridge between the business and technical communities by interpreting and translating business needs into technical specifications.

• Understand and document requirements from various stakeholders while conceptualizing potential solutions.

• Gain a thorough understanding of existing systems and processes, analyzing the impact of changes as new solutions are implemented.

• Work closely with business owners, sales, QA, and development teams.

• Partner with fellow business analysts to manage interdependencies across the product suite.

• Assist in the creation and validation of test plans.

• Prepare and deliver product presentations and/or training to current and prospective customers.

• Travel may be a requirement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a business analyst or in a comparable role.

• At least 1 year in a technical position that necessitates technical thinking and the translation of technical aspects into requirements.

• Must qualify and maintain clearance to work on a U.S. military installation.

• Experience in an AGILE environment with frequently shifting goals, timelines, and resources.

• Strong mathematical skills and effective project management abilities.

• Capability to analyze and document complex business processes.

• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• Analytical thinking skills and a problem-solving mindset.

• Proficient in gathering and interpreting relevant data and information.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Visio.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of working time.

• Technical knowledge of web-based applications, relational databases, and EDI technology is advantageous.

• Experience with the Department of Defense is a plus.

• Familiarity with Environmental and/or Logistics Processes is a plus.
