This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Direct JLL’s execution of the client Operations Sustainability data initiative
• Provide and manage sustainability data management solutions, encompassing greenhouse gas accounting, utility monitoring, environmental reporting platforms, documentation, and program governance
• Supervise the collection of sustainability data for external reporting requests, ensuring that data is timely, precise, and ready for audits
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Sustainable Impact Report and in responding to sustainability information requests from rating agencies, investors, and rankings
• Enhance and refine external sustainability reporting processes and internal controls
• Oversee sustainability reporting and disclosure activities, which include report preparation, data collection, content development, assurance, and addressing stakeholder inquiries
• Monitor emerging sustainability regulations, trends, and disclosure standards, providing advice on necessary actions
• Lead or assist in projects aimed at improving sustainability reporting and disclosure
• Offer strategic oversight of environmental accounting system administration
• Manage the utility data program across electricity, natural gas, water, waste, and refrigerants
• Oversee extrapolation methodologies for sites that are not directly tracked
• Collaborate with sustainability managers, IFM suppliers, and data providers to resolve data quality issues
• Lead quarterly self-audits and coordinate third-party assurance audit activities
• Manage KPIs related to data accuracy, deliverables, and audit quality; present dashboards and remediation strategies
• Supervise automation initiatives for sustainability data collection, reporting, and disclosure
• Work in partnership with team members, functions, and business units to meet sustainability objectives
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in greenhouse gas accounting methodologies and protocols, including GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Scope 1, 2, and 3 calculations
• Experience in managing sustainability data collection, validation, and reporting across diverse sites or regions
• Familiarity with utility data management for electricity, natural gas, water, waste, and refrigerants
• Strong understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks such as CDP, DJSI, GRI, TCFD, and SASB
• Experience in coordinating third-party assurance or audit processes for sustainability data
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data validation
• Experience with environmental data management systems, sustainability reporting platforms, or ERP systems utilized for environmental accounting
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Capability to collaborate across functions, geographical areas, and organizational levels
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
