This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Recruit and establish the Global Survivor Council through both the Brave Movement and other survivor movements.
• Regularly convene and facilitate the Council/working group from its inception through to post-conference, ensuring continuous engagement.
• Manage the transition from working group to conference delegation as the event nears, clarifying roles, responsibilities, and available support for members.
• Develop and implement a structured preparation program for survivor leaders, including briefing sessions, conference orientation, and tailored preparation for their specific engagements.
• Coordinate survivor input into key TfG/Brave policy and advocacy materials, ensuring genuine consultation rather than nominal approval.
• Prepare survivor leaders for participation in panels, bilateral meetings, and media interactions with customized briefing notes.
• Ensure that all survivor leaders fully understand the conference context, the objectives of TfG/Brave, and their individual roles to engage confidently.
• Assist survivor leaders in attending and contributing to regional and national consultations and other pre-conference events that match their expertise and experience.
• Organize and facilitate a survivor-only event and/or safe space during or around the conference.
• Proactively check in on survivor delegates throughout the conference week, rather than waiting for signs of distress.
• Act as the primary coordinator and welfare contact for all survivor delegates during the conference week.
• Support survivor leaders in any post-conference advocacy follow-up, coordinating with the PM on the broader follow-up strategy.
• Over 5 years of experience in survivor engagement, delegation coordination, or similar roles, preferably in international advocacy or global policy processes.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed practices and a proven ability to apply them in a professional setting.
• Experience in designing and executing an open, transparent selection or recruitment process for survivor groups or delegations.
• Direct experience working with survivor leaders and/or individuals who have faced violence, abuse, or other forms of trauma.
• Strong facilitation skills in conducting group processes that are inclusive, safe, and focused on outcomes.
• Experience in managing and coordinating a delegation at high-level international events.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust across diverse cultures, languages, and lived experiences.
• Capability to navigate difficult conversations and support individuals in distress while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Experience with safeguarding frameworks and protocols is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish, French, Filipino/Tagalog, or other languages is advantageous.
• Appropriate welfare support will be offered to any applicant or post-holder who requires it throughout the duration of the contract.
• The Brave Movement is dedicated to promoting survivor leadership.
