Global Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting within the organization.

• This position manages designated general ledger accounts from transaction processing through reconciliation and analysis, assists with monthly closing activities, and collaborates with internal teams to guarantee appropriate accounting treatment in a dynamic advertising agency setting.

• The Staff Accountant acts as the primary accounting resource for payroll-related transactions, incentive compensation accounting, treasury operations, and certain compliance functions.

• This role will spearhead the implementation of a scalable commission and incentive management system while supporting ongoing process enhancements to boost automation, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the Finance department.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of accounting experience is required.

• Must demonstrate integrity, especially in situations where oversight is lacking, and possess a high level of ethics and character.

• Self-motivated individual.

• Must exhibit exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

• Should have the aptitude and adaptability to comprehend the evolving informational needs of the business.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite is required, particularly in Excel (including pivot tables and vlookups) and PowerPoint.

• Experience with NetSuite and Concur is preferred.

• A willingness to learn and grow with the organization is essential.
