Global Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Examine intricate cases related to phishing, blockchain exploits, hacking, terrorism financing, account takeovers, scams, money laundering, ransomware, and other unlawful applications of blockchain technology.

• Create comprehensive reports and present them both in writing and during briefings to TRM's clients.

• Perform extensive research on major categories of on-chain crime, transforming findings into actionable intelligence for TRM's partners.

• Assist in sensitive and complex investigations for TRM's partners in both the public and private sectors.

• Actively seek out, develop, and maintain relationships with industry partners to enhance TRM's attribution sources on a large scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis; eager to learn about emerging on-chain typologies.

• 3-5+ years of combined experience as an investigator or analyst in either the private or public sector.

• Proven experience in delivering briefings to senior stakeholders within an organization.

• Capability to structure ambiguous challenges and prioritize the most urgent issues effectively.

• Experience in seizing stablecoins.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance research and pattern recognition while maintaining control over final investigative decisions.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can change rapidly.
