Global Commodity Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the procurement strategy for Metal Fabrication, Hardware, Optics, Packaging & Hand Tools

• Attain exceptional results in quality, delivery, cost, and working capital

• Develop, integrate, and oversee preferred suppliers for the designated commodities

• Create and execute top-tier supply chain processes and procedures

• Coordinate the efforts of other commodities and procurement professionals through dotted-line responsibilities

• Ensure the utilization of Ralliant preferred supplier contracts to optimize QDC outcomes and adhere to policies

• Facilitate workshops and kaizens, training acquisition associates on Qualitrol/Ralliant sourcing tools and methodologies

• Offer coaching, mentoring, and assistance to supply chain team members

• Engage in teams led by corporate commodity leaders, as necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, supply chain, or procurement roles

• Proven dedication to ongoing education in sourcing and supply chain management

• Proficiency in procurement software and applicable computer applications

• Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic, global, and multicultural environment

• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and effectively managing change
