GIS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Analyze LiDAR point clouds and imagery.

• Identify and validate infrastructure objects.

• Conduct measurements and verify data accuracy.

• Work with GIS datasets, project databases, and engineering templates.

• Ensure data integrity by adhering to established QA/QC protocols.

• Report any data issues and inconsistencies discovered during processing.

• Collaborate with project managers and QA engineers to ensure timely project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in GIS, cartography, cadastral studies, or a related field, or relevant experience in GIS.

• Strong spatial reasoning and analytical abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to work with technical documentation and adhere to project guidelines.

• Basic proficiency in written English to understand instructions.

• **Nice to Have**

• Experience in utility, telecom, or power infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with LiDAR data.

• Proficiency in GIS or point cloud software (including QGIS, Global Mapper, MicroStation, TerraScan, Spatix, etc.).
