Geospatial Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute enterprise-level geospatial architectures and visualization solutions.

• Build GIS applications and mapping services that aid operational missions.

• Incorporate geospatial data into cloud-based applications and dashboards.

• Enhance spatial analysis and geospatial intelligence capabilities.

• Support initiatives related to remote sensing, imagery exploitation, and location-based analytics.

• Work collaboratively with software developers, data engineers, and mission stakeholders.

• Apply geospatial AI/ML solutions where relevant.

• Create technical roadmaps and provide architecture recommendations.

• Ensure seamless interoperability between geospatial systems and enterprise platforms.

• Record geospatial architectures, standards, and implementation guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, or a related discipline.

• A total of five (5) years of relevant professional experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Proven experience in developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.

• Background in integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications.

• Proficient in spatial analysis and geospatial data processing.

• Familiarity with mapping services, web GIS technologies, and geospatial databases.

• Experience in supporting enterprise-level geospatial architectures.
