This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• The Genesis OR Consultant is essential in providing support to hospitals and surgical teams through both onsite and remote consulting services.
• This position emphasizes the identification and implementation of top-tier practices for da Vinci Surgery, focusing on areas such as robotic program standardization, operational efficiency, team training, cost management, and block time utilization.
• Collaborating closely with hospital leadership and cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Training, Customer Service, and Technical Support is a primary duty.
• The consultant guarantees that each client is prepared to effectively launch, optimize, and maintain a successful robotic surgery program.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the use, application, troubleshooting, and proper handling of Intuitive technologies, instruments, and accessories.
• Independently oversee your designated territory, balancing customer consulting engagements with administrative tasks.
• Design and execute focused Genesis OR consulting and educational programs for strategically chosen customer accounts.
• Foster long-term, multi-layered consulting relationships by working with hospital stakeholders and cross-functional Intuitive teams (Sales, Services, Marketing, Customer Training) to deliver tailored, actionable solutions.
• Encourage robust collaboration between Genesis and cross-functional partners to achieve shared implementation objectives and customer success milestones.
• Evaluate customer usage patterns and performance metrics to customize consulting engagements and showcase value through measurable results.
• Actively participate in internal and customer-oriented Genesis and Intuitive events, including conferences, congresses, and training sessions (both virtual and live).
• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) is preferred; equivalent clinical, medical, or healthcare-related experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in healthcare or hospital management, ideally within a B2B sales role or a leadership position in a hospital.
• Proven experience working in or with Operating Room departments.
• A strong history of achieving results through effective team collaboration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present confidently to diverse audiences and group sizes.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-energy, and fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable regarding work schedules, including the potential for extended hours.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to operate effectively within key stakeholder healthcare environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and consistently across various organizational levels.
• Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or similar tools; experience with project management and a strong track record of leading complex, customer-facing initiatives related to OR efficiency, productivity, or cost containment.
• Fluency in English and the local language (if applicable).
