General Manager – VBU Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategic planning process and establish the direction for the business unit.

• Develop and present annual strategic plans.

• Ensure the achievement of long-term financial and non-financial objectives.

• Manage business metrics and performance tracking.

• Oversee operational management and evaluate performance.

• Drive growth initiatives and formulate sales and marketing strategies.

• Engage in addressing day-to-day escalations.

• Identify potential risks and implement remediation strategies.

• Advocate for the adoption of AI throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in people management within a software or technology-focused company.

• More than 8 years of P&L leadership and direct management experience.

• Proven experience in account management and developing new sales business.

• Experience in building and executing go-to-market strategies.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• High energy levels and a strong sense of urgency.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• A collaborative team player with a proven ability to work effectively with others.

• Knowledge of the security industry is preferred.
