General Civil Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the performance of civil self-perform teams and subcontractors across various projects.

• Enhance project execution for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scheduling at civil self-perform and subcontracted locations.

• Plan, guide, and coordinate activities related to project execution.

• Organize, schedule, and oversee civil operations at project sites.

• Assist in pre-construction initiatives, meetings, site assessments, and project kick-off.

• Mentor Construction Managers, Associate Construction Managers, Superintendents, and other promising talent.

• Engage in interviews and aid in the hiring, training, and mentoring for civil self-perform roles.

• Lead risk analysis, management, and mitigation efforts for civil field teams.

• Attend monthly project evaluations and status meetings with project teams and clients.

• Ensure that both civil self-perform and subcontracted personnel fulfill performance standards.

• Support construction efforts in accordance with design specifications, budget, and timeline.

• Collaborate with Safety leadership on safety initiatives and quality assurance.

• Supervise several large-scale civil self-perform solar projects.

• Aid in project closeout and commissioning processes.

• Assist in planning and optimizing equipment usage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in self-perform civil projects.

• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

• In-depth understanding of civil solar construction and project management.

• Capable of interpreting and applying civil drawings and specifications.

• Strong problem-solving and coordination capabilities.

• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office applications.

• OSHA 30 certification.

• First Aid/CPR certification.

• SWPPP Training certification.

• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
