This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• You will review reported content, which may include comments, chats, graphic images, videos, and audio files.
• Utilizing moderation guidelines, you will determine whether user-generated content violates community policies.
• You may also be required to escalate harmful content to ensure the ongoing protection of users and the brand.
• This position entails regular exposure to user-reported content, which can consist of graphic imagery and offensive language.
• Moderate content in alignment with Social Element and client-specific guidelines.
• Evaluate content across various formats, including voice chat audio, videos, comments, and more.
• Stay informed about any new changes in guidelines or our systems through notifications.
• Perform moderation and training in accordance with the project schedule.
• Maintain resilience when reviewing potentially unexpected, highly sensitive, intense, or challenging content.
• Escalate user-generated content that adheres to official escalation protocols (e.g., child safety, bomb threats).
• Notify Supervisors and/or the project management team of any technical or other issues related to tools or content, and provide feedback on client-related concerns.
• Language Skills: Proficient in both French and English, with outstanding reading and listening abilities, as you will be moderating content in these languages.
• Ability to work accurately under time constraints within SLA-driven workflows.
• Relevant experience: a background in moderation, community management, or as a gaming enthusiast familiar with gaming, forums, and platforms.
• Social Media proficiency: strong understanding and knowledge of various social platforms (Tik Tok, Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to stay current with the latest gaming trends, events, and followers.
• Digital native: adept at using a range of technologies, applications, online tools, and cloud platforms.
• Self-disciplined: capable of managing your own time while working remotely, including prioritizing tasks, shifts, and attending training sessions.
