Fundraising and Donor Relations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and create profiles for major donors, foundations, and conference participants prior to CEO meetings to ensure each engagement is optimized.

• Take charge of follow-up tasks. Compose outreach emails, thank-you notes, and cultivation communications in the voice of the CEO, ensuring appropriate tone, timing, and next steps are maintained.

• Guide donors through the cultivation process — from initial interaction to scheduled meetings and secured commitments.

• Identify and monitor grant opportunities that align with Parity’s mission, managing submission timelines comprehensively.

• Craft persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, donor reports, and major gift case statements.

• Equip the CEO for speaking engagements and conferences by developing briefing materials that highlight funding opportunities.

• Keep the donor CRM updated and current, ensuring that the pipeline remains actionable.

• Actively identify new funding strategies and prospect ideas — you take initiative without needing direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in business development, nonprofit fundraising, major gifts, or a donor-facing fundraising position — we prioritize your accomplishments over your job title.

• Proven success in writing grant proposals or major donor communications that led to funding outcomes.

• Understanding of donor cultivation strategies and the major gifts cycle.

• Ability to operate as an extension of a CEO or senior leader — composing communications in their voice, representing their brand, and managing follow-ups.

• Experience in a startup, early-stage organization, or resource-limited environment is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (any platform) is beneficial but not mandatory.
