Functional Business Consultant – Cereals & Agri-Inputs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• In the role of business lead, you will facilitate the various phases of the implementation project, ensuring that the cooperative’s processes are accurately represented in the configuration and utilization of our ERP system.

• Serve as a liaison between the client's business teams, functional consultants, and technical teams.

• Engage in discovery workshops and analyze business processes.

• Gain an understanding of the cooperative’s organizational structure and practices to pinpoint functional requirements.

• Provide guidance to project teams regarding best practices within the cereals sector.

• Assist in converting business needs into functional specifications.

• Take part in ERP configuration decisions to ensure consistency with the client’s operational processes.

• Identify discrepancies between current practices and the solution’s standard functionalities.

• Facilitate functional trade-offs, prioritizing best practices over custom development when appropriate.

• Engage in functional testing and validation of modifications.

• Support key users throughout various stages of the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess considerable experience in one or more of the following areas: grain collection; silo and inventory management; grain grading and quality; purchase and sales contracts; traceability; logistics and transport; grain marketing; invoicing and payments; or operation of an agricultural cooperative or storage organization.

• Familiarity with agri-inputs is essential.

• Strong IT literacy: while you may not be a developer, you are comfortable working on information systems projects.

• Ideally, you have participated in: an ERP or industry-specific software deployment project; functional design workshops; functional configuration tasks; change management or user training.

• You are aware of the challenges associated with ERP integration and can effectively communicate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams.
