This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for families, individuals, and groups dealing with eating disorders and associated diagnoses through a virtual clinic (telehealth) environment.
• Apply family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-supported interventions for patients of all ages with eating disorders and their families.
• Manage a caseload of 30-40 clients, with an expected commitment of 20-26 hours dedicated to direct patient care and the remainder of the time allocated for administrative responsibilities.
• Engage in both initial and ongoing training sessions.
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors, as well as external providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging to assist patients and communicate with the treatment team via Equip’s EMR, adhering to Equip’s policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and departmental meetings.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and acquire licensure in additional states as requested by Equip (licensure costs will be covered by Equip).
• Possess an active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in [State].
• Capable of managing a diverse caseload of patients, including varying ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, and cultures, as well as differing levels of acuity.
• Strong commitment to evidence-based care and treatment methodologies.
• Availability to provide care two evenings each week (up to 8 PM in the primary time zone of your patient caseload).
• Enthusiastic and collaborative team player.
• Ability to effectively deliver care in a virtual environment.
• Deep passion for mental health, eating disorder treatment, and increasing access to care.
• Preferred experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or treatment for eating disorders.
• Preferred familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods and/or intensive treatment settings.
• Preferred experience supporting patients experiencing suicidal ideation and trauma.
• Preferred background in case management and/or working closely with a multidisciplinary care team.
