Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain the server-side services that ensure our platform operates reliably at scale.

• Integrate backend logic with frontend components to provide a cohesive and seamless user experience.

• Enhance the structure and aesthetics of our web applications, achieving an ideal balance between intricate functionality and premium design.

• Spearhead the advancement of our platform by architecting interactive features, including dynamic dashboards and real-time data visualizations.

• Boost user engagement through ongoing optimization of the entire stack for speed, responsiveness, and a smooth experience.

• Guarantee that the software you create is secure, safe, and capable of managing the sensitive data of the communities we cater to.

• Thoroughly document your work to ensure that technical documentation is clear, comprehensible, and accessible for future reference by the broader team.

• Engage in team rituals and foster a culture centered around shared learning and technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid background as a FullStack Engineer, particularly with Java and Spring for the backend and Angular or React for the frontend. (Mandatory)

• Strong command of modern web technologies and a profound understanding of how to reconcile server-side constraints with user-focused design. (Mandatory)

• In-depth knowledge of web performance, security best practices, and optimization strategies.

• Outstanding ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation. (Mandatory)

• Excellent English proficiency, complemented by a collaborative approach to working in a remote, multicultural team. (Mandatory)

• Extensive experience with Microservices and the AWS cloud ecosystem (a plus).

• You currently reside in Portugal, South Africa, or Kenya. (Mandatory)
