This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop new functionalities and create applications for our client's platform.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code by employing best practices such as RESTful API patterns, SOLID principles, and event-driven architectures.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and QA teams in an agile development setting.
• Design, create, and sustain scalable production web services and APIs.
• Assist in cloud-native application development and infrastructure within AWS environments.
• Contribute to enhancing system reliability, security, performance, and scalability across applications and services.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive innovation within a complex, regulated healthcare setting while upholding security and compliance standards.
• Over 5 years of experience in delivering secure, scalable web applications.
• More than 5 years of full stack engineering experience with Node.js (JavaScript) and React.
• At least 4 years of experience in building and supporting production-level web or API applications.
• Experience in healthcare and/or highly secure, regulated environments.
• Over 3 years of experience with modern build tools like Webpack and Babel.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining production web services at scale, especially using asynchronous patterns.
• Proficiency in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker containers and containerized application deployments.
• Proficient in working within AWS cloud environments, utilizing services such as ECS/Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront, Redshift, and queuing technologies.
• Background in agile development environments using tools such as Jira, GitHub, and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization capabilities.
