Full Stack Product Manager – Investor, Internal Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance product experiences aimed at investors that maximize Crunchbase's value for investors, venture firms, founders, and participants in the venture ecosystem.

• Create and manage structured feedback mechanisms, including advisory groups, beta programs, early access cohorts, customer interviews, demonstrations, office hours, and product feedback channels.

• Represent the interests of investors and venture ecosystem users within the Product organization.

• Convert qualitative feedback and behavioral indicators into product requirements, experiments, prototypes, and roadmap suggestions.

• Spot opportunities to enhance investor engagement, adoption, satisfaction, and product-market fit.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Revenue, and Operations teams to transform investor insights into impactful product opportunities.

• Assess the effectiveness of investor-facing initiatives using metrics related to adoption, engagement, retention, satisfaction, and business outcomes.

• Develop internal AI-driven tools and workflows that boost operational efficiency across Crunchbase.

• Identify manual, disjointed, repetitive, or fragile workflows and substitute them with scalable internal systems.

• Design and implement tools that combine data, AI models, automation, APIs, and user workflows.

• Launch tools in restricted-access internal environments for use by Crunchbase teams.

• Take ownership of the ongoing maintenance, debugging, documentation, and enhancement of the internal tools you create.

• Ensure that internal tools are reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable for their designated use cases.

• Assist internal teams in adopting AI-powered workflows in practical and measurable ways.

• Define product opportunities, user challenges, business requirements, and success metrics.

• Prioritize projects based on user impact, business value, urgency, and implementation complexity.

• Clarify ambiguous problems into distinct requirements, technical strategies, prototypes, and delivered solutions.

• Divide initiatives into iterative milestones and oversee their delivery from discovery through to launch and post-launch optimization.

• Make informed trade-offs regarding speed, quality, usability, maintainability, cost, and risk.

• Evaluate adoption, engagement, operational impact, and business outcomes following a launch.

• Write, modify, debug, and maintain code using contemporary AI-assisted development workflows.

• Employ vibe coding, spec-to-code workflows, rapid prototyping, and iterative development to swiftly transition from problem definition to functional software.

• Construct prototypes and production-ready internal tools that end-users can depend on in limited-access settings.

• Integrate data sources, APIs, AI models, automation platforms, and user interfaces into effective workflows.

• Take responsibility for performance, reliability, documentation, and continuous improvements for the systems you develop.

• Recognize when a solution can be directly owned and when it necessitates deeper Engineering collaboration for scaling, security, or long-term infrastructure requirements.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Revenue, Operations, and business teams to discover high-impact product and operational possibilities.

• Engage directly with investors, customers, and internal stakeholders to comprehend needs and validate solutions.

• Communicate effectively about priorities, trade-offs, technical limitations, risks, and anticipated outcomes.

• Contribute to the advancement of modern product development practices throughout Crunchbase.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, product engineering, solutions engineering, founder/operator roles, or a similar technical builder position.

• Proficient in writing code and launching usable software products, internal tools, or AI-powered workflows that serve real users.

• Proven experience in owning products or workflows from problem identification to launch and ongoing enhancement.

• Experienced in working directly with customers or users to gather insights and inform product decisions.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools, automation platforms, APIs, data workflows, or modern product development methodologies.

• Preferred experience in creating tools or workflows within limited-access production settings.

• Background in SaaS, venture capital, fintech, marketplace, data-driven technology, or investor-facing product environments is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

• Strong product judgment, including skills in prioritization, scoping, requirements definition, experimentation, and tradeoff analysis.

• Capability to write, comprehend, debug, deploy, and maintain code utilizing modern AI-assisted development workflows.

• Experience with AI-assisted development techniques, including vibe coding, spec-to-code workflows, rapid prototyping, and iterative debugging.

• Ability to create functional internal tools, workflows, or product experiences that real users can rely on.

• Solid understanding of AI-powered systems, automation workflows, APIs, data integrations, and emerging development tools.

• Excellent customer discovery abilities, including gathering, synthesizing, and translating user feedback into product decisions.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to work autonomously in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

• Strong customer empathy, balancing user needs, business goals, technical complexity, and operational constraints.

• Ability to oversee solutions beyond launch, including documentation, debugging, maintenance, adoption, and measurement.
