Full-Stack Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design and develop software applications based on Micro Service Architecture using JEE.

• Engage in full stack development to create highly scalable web and batch applications.

• Participate actively in Agile development methodologies and related ceremonies.

• Construct back-end applications utilizing Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Core Java, JDBC, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Microservices.

• Create front-end applications as necessary, leveraging REACT JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and more.

• Employ modern software engineering tools, including Eclipse, Rational Application Developer (RAD), and Atlassian Suites, for design, development, and testing of software.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (4 years of experience may substitute for the degree).

• A total of 8 years of IT experience, primarily as a Full-Stack Java Developer.

• A minimum of 3 years of strong hands-on experience as a Back-end Java Developer.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Java for back-end and JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.

• Implement server-side logic and database integration to ensure a seamless data flow between back-end and front-end.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks (such as Spring and Hibernate).

• Ensure secure and efficient data management and integration with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and others.

• Implement client-side validation, event handling, and dynamic content update functionalities.

• Write and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to uphold software quality and reliability.

• Debug and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Familiarity with system development methodologies, including Agile.

• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
