Full Stack Engineer, Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and develop full-stack functionalities that cater to enterprise adoption needs within Observability.

• Take ownership of integrations and infrastructure capabilities from start to finish—covering API design, backend services, and user interface components.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, solutions engineers, and clients to comprehend enterprise needs and deliver solutions accordingly.

• Engage in architecture and design discussions, making informed trade-offs regarding scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Write well-tested, observable code while maintaining high engineering standards throughout the team.

• Interact with internal stakeholders and occasionally with enterprise clients to validate solutions and gather insights.

• Participate in on-call rotations and ensure production reliability for your developed features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience in delivering production-quality full-stack features.

• Proficient across the technology stack—comfortable working with TypeScript/React on the frontend and Go (or similar) on the backend.

• Experience in building integrations, data pipelines, or APIs that connect large-scale systems.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) or experience in creating IaC-compatible APIs.

• Understanding of enterprise software requirements including compliance, auditability, RBAC, and GitOps workflows.

• Excellent communication skills—you can collaborate across functions and are comfortable engaging with technical clients or solutions engineers.

• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.) is advantageous.

• Knowledge of LaunchDarkly's feature flagging or Observability product is a plus.
