Full Stack Engineer – Data Engineering Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Develop and establish data pipelines that extract information from Amazon SP-API and Ads API into our Postgres warehouse — managing rate limits, retries, schema evolution, and the complexities of vendor APIs.

• Design the ingestion, transformation, and aggregation layers that drive our reporting tools.

• Create new reporting tools from start to finish in collaboration with the engineering team — your role encompasses more than just pipelines.

• Assist in scaling our data infrastructure as we transition from manual uploads for individual clients to automated, multi-tenant data flow.

• Contribute to our AI insights framework — providing clean, structured data for LLM-powered analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of full-stack experience, with a proven history of building data pipelines in production environments.

• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and React.

• Extensive knowledge of Postgres / Supabase — including partitioning, indexing, query optimization, and managing large datasets.

• Practical experience with AWS services: S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, and EC2.

• Bonus points for experience with orchestration tools (Step Functions, EventBridge, Airflow, Temporal, etc.).

• Experience with large-scale integration of third-party APIs — including pagination, rate limiting, backfills, and incremental synchronization.

• Basic understanding of AI agentic systems — you have worked with or explored LLMs, tool usage, or agent frameworks.

• Pragmatic and product-oriented — you recognize that pipelines exist to support user-facing features, not merely for their own existence.

• Nice to Have: Direct experience with Amazon SP-API and/or Ads API, a background in ETL frameworks, streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis), or workflow engines (Temporal, Airflow), and familiarity with data quality tools, observability, or pipeline monitoring.
