This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Guidehouse is in search of a Full Stack Engineer to aid in the design, development, testing, and deployment of a secure, AI-driven analytic and decision-support platform.
• This position will contribute to the creation of the user-facing application, backend services, APIs, data integrations, dashboards, and workflow functionalities necessary to transition the solution from prototype to production.
• The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate closely with AI engineers, subject matter experts (SMEs), architects, product managers, UX designers, and data teams to ensure the platform is user-friendly, dependable, secure, and aligned with actual operational workflows.
• Key responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and deploying full stack application capabilities, developing responsive and user-friendly web interfaces, and integrating AI-enhanced features into the application experience.
• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
• A Bachelor's degree.
• Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Five (5) years of experience in Full Stack development.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying full stack web applications.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering, including APIs, application architecture, data models, authentication, authorization, testing, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar technologies.
• Experience in backend development using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, .NET, or similar languages and frameworks.
• Experience in building and integrating REST APIs, microservices, data services, or workflow services.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, query development, and application data integration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort in operating within regulated, audit-sensitive federal or Department of Defense environments.
