Full Stack Engineer – AI-Native, React, Node

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable full-stack applications utilizing React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Integrate LLMs and AI services into production features, including structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflows that involve agents or tools.

• Construct and uphold the data and retrieval layers that support AI functionalities (embeddings, vector search, context pipelines).

• Assess and enhance the quality, reliability, latency, and cost of AI features through rigorous evaluation and implementing guardrails.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

• Apply best practices in platform engineering, performance tuning, and security.

• Partner closely with DevOps to automate and optimize deployment procedures.

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, while participating in code reviews.

• Keep abreast of emerging AI and web technologies and share insights with colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in comparable roles.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js.

• Practical experience in integrating LLM/AI APIs (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) into production systems.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization methods (OAuth, JWT).

• Comfort in utilizing modern AI-assisted development tools within your workflow.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
