Full-stack Developer, Web – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Full-stack Developer, Web & Mobile will be accountable for delivering seamless, high-quality mobile and web experiences, ensuring that software products meet user needs and exceed expectations.

• You will enhance automated test coverage to 90% for critical components of the application, focusing on areas susceptible to bugs.

• You will incorporate crash and performance monitoring tools to monitor and reduce unexpected mobile app behaviors in real-time, ensuring user stability through robust error handling, fallback mechanisms, and graceful recovery from failures.

• You will spearhead strategy development on at least one significant feature for the mobile application.

• You will collaborate with the team to build, test, and launch three core features that involve frontend development for React (web) and React Native (mobile).

• You will establish an initial performance baseline and enhance performance by 15% in crucial areas, such as reducing application load times and improving backend request efficiency.

• You will convert requirements into technical specifications and work to plan, design, develop, and maintain new web and mobile features.

• You will develop and sustain cross-platform features and UI components using React Native (iOS/Android) and React/Ruby on Rails (Web).

• You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that conforms to established standards and best practices for repository organization.

• You will manage the deployment lifecycle, contributing to deployment scripts and monitoring application health after release.

• You will design, develop, and maintain code integrations and API functionalities.

• You will implement robust security measures, including data validation, authentication, and authorization protocols.

• You will optimize and document API performance, providing clear usage guidelines and addressing troubleshooting response times or error handling.

• You will conduct thorough unit testing of features and bug fixes across both mobile and web platforms to ensure cross-platform consistency and reliability.

• You will execute comprehensive unit tests to validate the functionality and correctness of individual modules and components.

• You will manage the complete bug lifecycle, participating in rotation-based error monitoring, root-cause debugging, and resolution.

• You will utilize advanced diagnostic tools, such as logging and monitoring systems, to troubleshoot complex technical issues and share findings with the team.

• You will collaborate with internal and external product, engineering, and quality assurance team members to ensure software products meet the highest quality standards.

• You will drive Agile excellence by actively participating in Scrum events, requirement reviews, and technical solution discussions.

• You will maintain project transparency by clearly communicating progress, risks, and challenges to all stakeholders.

• You will uphold code quality through rigorous code reviews and a commitment to continuous learning of emerging industry frameworks and best practices.

• You will support and mentor junior team members in mobile development and full-stack technologies.

• You will guide and mentor engineers through their professional development, providing technical support in mobile and full-stack domains.

• You possess 4+ years of experience in full-stack development, encompassing mobile and web technologies.

• You have 3+ years of experience with React Native for mobile development, in addition to React for web.

• You demonstrate proficiency in mobile app development (iOS/Android) with a focus on performance optimization, debugging, and cross-platform consistency.

• You have a solid understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices, emphasizing mobile-first design.

• You possess knowledge of relational databases and the capability to write complex queries for data manipulation and retrieval.
