This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Create and deliver features, not just delegate tasks. Transform a concept from Figma into a merged pull request: ViewComponents, Stimulus controllers, Tailwind, and everything in between.
• Take charge of the dashboard. Enhance the logged-in user experience with usage analytics, request history, billing, and API keys. Ensure a data-rich console feels organized rather than chaotic.
• Develop interactive API playgrounds. Allow developers to execute real requests and observe structured JSON responses live. Make it the go-to feature that people want to capture and share.
• Manage the documentation and marketing experience. Maintain a coherent, fast, and visually appealing component system as the product evolves week by week.
• Create transparent data visualizations. Convert raw metrics into trustworthy charts that developers can understand at a glance, using a consistent and semantic color scheme.
• Uphold high standards of craftsmanship. Prioritize native HTML, utilize Turbo Frames over client-side state, and choose Tailwind over inline styles. Maximize Hotwire's potential before resorting to external dependencies.
• Maintain cleanliness in your work. Streamline the JavaScript bundle, eliminate unused CSS, and remove one-off controllers before they accumulate.
• You are in charge of the front end. We don't provide you with pixel-perfect designs. You determine what requires refinement now and what can be sufficiently functional, making the final decision.
• You design and implement. You have successfully delivered frontend work that you also designed, and it genuinely looks good—beyond just "good for an engineer."
• Proficient in Hotwire, or similar. Experienced in a server-rendered, component-based stack (Rails + Hotwire preferred; Phoenix/LiveView, Django, or Laravel experience is applicable). You prefer native HTML over JavaScript.
• Comfortable with Tailwind. You have strong opinions on spacing, typography scale, and color systems.
• Passionate about developer tools. You have a favorite dashboard and an aesthetically pleasing API console, and you can articulate exactly why they appeal to you.
• Excellent writing skills. You can clearly articulate a design trade-off in a pull request description without requiring a meeting.
• Self-motivated. You can transform a vague directive like "make this nicer" into a structured plan and execute it.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in production frontend that you designed and built, with links to showcase your work.
• Strong background with a server-rendered, component-based stack (Rails + Hotwire preferred).
• Experienced in Tailwind (or a comparable utility CSS) and a robust design tool like Figma.
• You have designed or redesigned an active SaaS dashboard or developer console that is currently live.
• Experience with ViewComponent, Stimulus, or a design system that you have maintained.
• Knowledge of data-dense charts and a genuine understanding of honest data visualization, beyond just attractive gradients.
• You have streamlined a real JavaScript bundle or implemented frontend error tracking, with evidence of the improvements made.
• You contribute to design publicly: a portfolio site you created or open-source UI contributions.
• Fully Remote. Work from anywhere.
• Equity share. Own a portion of what you are building.
• Profit sharing. When we succeed, you succeed.
• Learn directly from the founder. Gain insights into how a successful SaaS business grows.
• Annual team retreats (the last one was in Spain).
