Frontend Engineer – Music

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the Spotify Rights Center web application utilized by music labels, publishers, and various rights holders to oversee the presentation of their content on Spotify.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to provide intuitive and high-quality user experiences.

• Create intricate workflows that accommodate large datasets, territory-specific permissions, and multi-step processes for managing rights and disputes.

• Connect frontend systems with multiple backend services to ensure scalable and dependable data flows.

• Produce efficient, accessible, and thoroughly tested frontend code by employing modern development practices.

• Collaborate with backend engineers to design and refine APIs that meet the requirements of the product.

• Engage in product discovery and ideation alongside engineers, researchers, and product specialists.

• Assist in enhancing engineering practices and advocate for robust frontend architecture and quality standards.

• Foster a collaborative team atmosphere that promotes learning, experimentation, and personal growth.

• You possess experience in developing modern web applications using TypeScript and React or a comparable framework.

• You are adept at managing complex application state and data flows.

• You have experience in integrating frontend systems with APIs such as REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.

• You understand how to design responsive interfaces that gracefully handle loading states, pagination, streaming data, and error management.

• You are passionate about creating intuitive and accessible user experiences.

• You have experience in building enterprise or B2B applications featuring complex workflows, permissions, and extensive datasets.

• You produce high-quality code and test it using modern methodologies such as unit, integration, or end-to-end testing.

• You take responsibility for solutions from requirements through to deployment and iteration based on user feedback.

• You enjoy exploring new domains and problem spaces while collaborating with teammates to address significant challenges.
