Frontend Engineer – Desktop Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, design, and manage responsive, interactive user interfaces utilizing React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Incorporate and support Pindrop authentication, fraud detection, and voice security features within frontend workflows.

• Convert design wireframes and mockups into high-quality code.

• Apply UI/UX best practices to produce user-friendly web applications.

• Enhance application performance to achieve optimal speed and scalability.

• Connect frontend applications with backend RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Develop clean, efficient, and testable code adhering to best practices for performance, maintainability, and security.

• Design and deploy cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.

• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.

• Configure monitoring, logging, and observability with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Splunk logging.

• Collaborate on infrastructure automation efforts using CloudFormation and Terraform.

• Integrate solutions with AWS services like Lambda.

• Employ AI-assisted coding in development processes.

• Support backend teams with full-stack integration and debugging tasks.

• Contribute to backend development (Python/Node.js) as required for end-to-end functionality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in frontend development.

• 5+ years of experience in engineering cloud-based applications.

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, encompassing frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Practical experience with Pindrop integrations, including API/SDK utilization and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of telephony concepts and SIP trunking.

• Experience with AWS SDKs, reporting, analytics, and troubleshooting.

• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and UI/UX principles.

• Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, VPC, and CloudFormation.

• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.

• Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Amazon Connect integrations, encompassing API usage, contact flow design, routing, queues, and call-flow troubleshooting.

• Experience or knowledge in utilizing AI and LLM models.

• Basic proficiency in backend development (Python, Node.js, Java, or C#).

• AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate).

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Event Bridge).
