Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Enhancing and maintaining existing legacy applications utilizing Javascript (both pre-ES6 and ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

• Enhancing and maintaining modern applications using Angular 19, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS, focusing on performance, user experience, responsiveness, and scalability.

• Diagnosing and resolving critical frontend issues reported by clients.

• Identifying and implementing accessibility enhancements to meet WCAG 2.0/2.1 standards.

• Designing and developing reusable UI components and frontend architecture to support long-term scalability.

• Creating new features and product improvements for enterprise clients.

• Collaborating with UX and Product teams to develop intuitive and engaging user experiences.

• Writing maintainable, testable, and high-quality code following modern development practices.

• Participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Sharing technical expertise and mentoring colleagues through collaboration and discussions on best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 4 years of professional experience in frontend or web application development.

• Proficient in Javascript (both pre-ES6 and ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in both legacy and modern applications.

• Involvement in accessibility initiatives and WCAG compliance projects.

• Familiarity with Angular (12+), TypeScript, and SASS.

• Experience in building responsive, scalable, and accessible web applications.

• Strong grasp of component-based architecture and frontend development best practices.

• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git.

• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.
