This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver code on a daily basis: Develop features, troubleshoot issues, and address urgent fixes to ensure the website remains swift and dependable.
• Take charge of marketing front-end initiatives: Oversee the technical execution of web projects related to marketing, ensuring quality, performance, accessibility, and adherence to design systems.
• Manage technical SEO performance: Actively assess and enhance the site's technical SEO aspects, including page speed, crawlability, structured data, meta tags, redirects, and Core Web Vitals, while proactively identifying issues and opportunities for the Marketing team.
• Be practical with frameworks: Currently work with Angular 13 and guide the team toward contemporary patterns; experience with React is a plus. Your readiness to dive in and deliver is what counts.
• Apply agentic coding practices: Utilize AI-assisted and agentic coding techniques to accelerate implementation, prototyping, testing, and iteration while upholding high standards for quality, security, and maintainability.
• Connect Marketing with Engineering: Collaborate closely with Marketing, front-end developers, and other teams to translate business requirements into precise technical specifications and produce high-quality web projects.
• Ensure UX/UI excellence: Advocate for a comprehensive approach to UX and UI, rapidly prototype, validate with users, and guarantee consistent and accessible experiences.
• Manage external partnerships: Define scopes and oversee external agencies and contractors, reviewing their deliverables for quality and maintainability.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical front-end experience in developing production web applications, preferably in marketing-related positions.
• Strong skills in software project ownership, including planning, managing scope and priorities, coordinating with external agencies, and driving projects to completion with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with technical SEO best practices, such as site performance, semantic HTML, structured data, and crawlability.
• High proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular 13.
• Openness to working with other frameworks as necessary.
• Solid understanding of UX concepts and UI design principles, with experience in design systems and rapid prototyping.
• Experience with tools like Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent English communication skills: capable of simplifying complex subjects and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Acquainted with static website generators such as Jekyll.
• Bonus: experience or strong interest in application security concepts.
