This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Produce manga-style illustrations, character designs, comics, and visual storytelling materials for social media platforms.

• Generate innovative concepts and convert marketing ideas into captivating visual assets.

• Design static content for social media channels including Instagram, Threads, and other pertinent platforms.

• Craft content that embodies Japanese cultural nuances and resonates with audience preferences.

• Offer creative insights for social media campaigns and assist in monthly content planning.

• Modify global brand messaging to create Japan-centric visual content.

• Work in collaboration with international teams to develop and enhance creative concepts.

• Professional proficiency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated experience as a manga illustrator, digital artist, comic creator, or character designer.

• A robust portfolio that highlights manga-style, anime-inspired, or character-focused artwork.

• Experience in producing illustrations or visual content tailored for digital platforms and social media.

• In-depth understanding of Japanese visual culture, storytelling techniques, and current online trends.

• Ability to conceptualize creative ideas from briefs and independently deliver final artwork.
