This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Validate market research and provide consultation on practice patterns, study methods, challenges, and certification pathways.
β’ Assess LLM-generated draft questions, encompassing stems, answer options, and explanations, for clinical accuracy, relevance to board exams, and overall item quality.
β’ Identify inaccuracies, outdated content, flawed distractors, or absent high-risk material.
β’ Utilize clinical expertise to enhance and validate market data while advising on scope of practice and prevalent challenges.
β’ Engage in practical work on the general surgery board exam Qbank using the AMBOSS platform.
β’ Optionally conduct brief educational sessions on surgical clinical decision-making or conventions related to board-exam questions.
β’ Board-certified, US-trained, practicing general surgeon.
β’ Medical degree (MD/DO).
β’ Completion of US general surgery residency training.
β’ ABS certification is mandatory.
β’ Current or recent practice in general surgery in the US within the last 2 years.
β’ Familiarity with the ABS Qualifying/Certifying Exam content outline, contemporary exam style and format, as well as current US clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
β’ Capacity to collaborate asynchronously with a quick turnaround.
β’ Ability to differentiate between board-relevant or clinically valuable content and non-essential subspecialty details.
