Freelance Market Research Analyst, Interviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Algeria.

📋 Description

• Conducting desk research by reviewing and gathering information from secondary sources.

• Performing store checks, which involve visiting retail locations and points of sale to document product details.

• Engaging in trade interviews through face-to-face or telephone conversations with various key stakeholders in the value chain, including manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.

• Building datasets by collecting and manipulating data points to establish market sizes, brand participation, and more.

• Analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data and information, including hypothesis testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residing in Algeria.

• Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week when involved in projects.

• Holding a university degree (4+ years), ideally in fields that require strong analytical skills such as Business, Economics, Marketing, Sociology, Anthropology, etc.

• Proficiency in English.

• Prior experience working remotely or on a project basis.

• Demonstrated persistence in seeking information and a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, as conducting interviews with industry stakeholders is a crucial aspect of the projects.

• Strong time-management, organizational, and self-motivation abilities.

• High level of numeracy, with the capacity to work with, analyze, and interpret data.

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
