This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

• Produce manga-style illustrations, character designs, comics, and visual storytelling materials for social media platforms.

• Generate innovative concepts and transform marketing ideas into captivating visual assets.

• Design static content for social media channels, including Instagram, Threads, and other relevant platforms.

• Craft content that embodies Japanese cultural elements and resonates with audience preferences.

• Offer creative insights for social media campaigns and assist in monthly content strategy planning.

• Work collaboratively with international teams to develop and enhance creative concepts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional proficiency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).

• Demonstrated experience as a manga illustrator, digital illustrator, comic artist, or character designer.

• A robust portfolio that highlights manga-style, anime-inspired, or character-focused artwork.

• Experience in producing illustrations or visual content for digital platforms and social media.

• Strong grasp of Japanese visual culture, narrative techniques, and online trends.

• Capability to generate creative concepts from briefs and independently deliver final artwork.

• Comfortable working in collaboration with global teams and receptive to feedback.
