Freelance Graphic Designer – Title Treatment Localization, Norwegian/Danish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for transforming English title images (logos) into the native language.

• Crafting visually appealing and culturally relevant localized titles and logos for television shows and films.

• Developing both 2D and 3D graphics from the ground up based on detailed specifications and briefs.

• Offering guidance on which designs will resonate with the target audience.

• Overseeing the workflow utilizing JIRA, the project management tool.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native speaker of the target market's language: Norwegian or Danish.

• Strong grasp of cultural subtleties and design preferences.

• At least 3 years of experience in graphic design and typography.

• Proficiency in different language scripts (e.g., CJK, Cyrillic, Arabic) and the challenges associated with their layouts.

• Understanding of text expansion/contraction and its effects on spacing and readability.

• Familiarity with right-to-left (RTL) and vertical text layouts for languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Japanese.

• Required: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and JIRA (access will be provided).

• An Internet connection with a minimum speed of 2 Mbps up and down (4 Mbps preferred).

• Expertise in 3D modeling and texturing using Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D.

• Experience with localized fonts and scripts in a 3D environment.

• Knowledge of rendering engines such as V-Ray, Arnold, Redshift, or Eevee.

• Strong understanding of UV mapping and texturing workflows for localized title assets.

• Capability to manage 3D file formats including FBX, OBJ, and GLTF.

• Ability to adapt and redesign iconography to fit various cultural contexts.

• Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining brand consistency across localized materials.
