Freelance Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Crafting website content for small business sites across diverse sectors.

• One assignment could involve creating copy for a landscaper, followed by a mechanic, and then a florist.

• Your primary task will be to write directly into the CMS, which may necessitate some technical expertise.

• Basic training will be available through instructional documents and email support as needed.

• No design work is required; your role is solely focused on writing and editing the text within the web template.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a freelance writer, or in a marketing or advertising agency, or a student currently enrolled in an English writing degree (such as Professional Writing and Editing, Creative Writing, or a related field).

• A solid grasp of SEO and SEM principles.

• Native English speaker or exceptionally proficient in English as a second language.

• Strong writing capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfortable working remotely and communicating with our content manager via email.

• Possession of an Australian Business Number (ABN) or willingness to obtain one.*

• An Australian Bank Account is required.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively handle varying writing tasks.

• Commitment to producing at least 15 pages (approximately 5 websites) each week.
