Freelance Animator, GFX Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Generate, conceptualize, and design special effects, animations, or other visual elements for our clients' videos, including explainer, promotional, and interview formats.

• Create animated graphics that range from lower thirds, logos, and bumpers to comprehensive production pieces.

• Revise and enhance existing motion graphics assets.

• Collaborate effectively with clients and team members to achieve project goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, video editing, and animation.

• A portfolio or reel showcasing your work is essential to demonstrate your skills and capabilities.

• Strong foundational understanding of layout, color theory, grids, icons, typography, proportion, photography, and motion/rich media.

• Proficient in After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.

• Must possess a Mac or Windows-based PC or laptop.

• Capability to utilize screen recording software such as Camtasia.

• Experience working with After Effects templates and the ability to create custom graphics.

• Familiarity with content that resonates with diverse audiences is necessary.

• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
