This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for fostering valuable business relationships, securing buy-in from all franchises within the zone, and cultivating a culture of teamwork and collaboration to meet defined targets, objectives, and business strategies.
• Conduct yearly business evaluations with designated franchisees to set goals pertaining to growth, profitability, and succession planning.
• When necessary, support franchises in executing exit strategies.
• Assess operational performance of franchisees to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing sales and profitability.
• Provide recommendations for business and operational enhancements and aid franchisees and their management teams in applying new processes to meet their objectives.
• Prioritize and direct efforts using advanced business acumen to generate maximum value and significant impact for the franchise group, utilizing early successes to influence others.
• Ensure the Big O Brand is safeguarded and appropriately represented by assigned franchisees in all aspects, adhering to existing Big O policies and standards.
• Organize and facilitate or assist with periodic regional meetings as needed.
• Identify new store expansion opportunities within assigned markets, engaging current franchisees, potential independent conversion candidates, and being aware of possible real estate prospects.
• Comprehend the strengths and weaknesses of the advertising, marketing, and franchisee markets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated experience in retail business planning, franchise development, and succession planning, with a robust understanding of operational execution in retail.
• Proven history of establishing beneficial business partnerships and working collaboratively with others to reach predetermined goals.
• Exceptional capacity for strategic thinking, analyzing individual business performance, identifying challenges, evaluating alternatives, prioritizing initiatives, and developing/implementing suitable actions for growth.
• Clear comprehension of the financial dynamics of franchise business operations, market conditions, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage various audiences, influence behavior, resolve conflicts, and secure commitment.
• High level of comfort interacting with franchisees and corporate management.
• Solid capability to maintain balance and objectivity while fostering rapport.
• Proven ability to plan, manage time effectively, set targets, work autonomously, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver results.
• Preferred Experience: Over five years of experience in managing retail tire and automotive service businesses.
• Experience in managing multiple stores and/or across multiple states is advantageous.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English is a plus.
