This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage our earned media initiative.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and our internal marketing team.
• Oversee strategy, media pitching, and relationship management.
• Achieve earned media placements in healthcare B2B trade publications.
• Ghostwrite articles and commentary for the CEO.
• Engage in proactive pitching with customized pitches linked to news events, regulatory updates, and proprietary insights.
• Track journalist source requests and swiftly provide expert commentary.
• Arrange podcast appearances, speaking engagements, and oversee submissions for industry awards.
• A minimum of 7 years in communications or public relations, with a substantial focus on healthcare B2B (including provider services, health IT, revenue cycle management, payers, or related fields).
• Demonstrated placements you have secured in healthcare trade publications within the past 18 months.
• Established relationships with journalists and editors who report on healthcare business, revenue cycle management, and health IT.
• Experience in ghostwriting for founders or C-suite executives — proficient in capturing an executive's voice and producing articles ready for publication.
• Proven track record with fractional or small companies.
