FP&A Systems and AI Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and consistently enhance workflows in Pigment, improving existing processes and creating new ones to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and headcount planning.

• Educate and empower finance business partners to achieve self-sufficiency in Pigment, enabling them to create their own models, dashboards, and reports without depending on a systems specialist.

• Take on the role of a hands-on modeler, developing and maintaining basic models directly in Pigment that will support essential models utilized in planning cycles and ad hoc analysis.

• Manage the integrity of Pigment's data pipelines—both within the platform and the connections to external systems like NetSuite, TeamOhana, and Salesforce—overseeing maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution to guarantee accurate and timely data flow.

• Act as the FP&A team's advocate for AI, optimizing the use of Pigment's native AI agents, establishing and maintaining integrations with Claude, and exploring new AI applications that enhance the quality, speed, and depth of the team's outputs.

• Be the main point of contact for Pigment users within Finance, providing troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing assistance.

• Collaborate with FP&A leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (Accounting, People, Data) to translate changing business needs into system improvements and process enhancements.

• Remain updated on Pigment's product roadmap and broader trends in FP&A tools and AI, proactively identifying opportunities to implement new capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with Pigment, encompassing model architecture, formula logic, workflow design, and system administration.

• 3-5+ years of experience implementing Pigment or a similar EPM/FP&A planning tool (such as Anaplan or Adaptive Planning), including practical build and configuration experience.

• Proficiency in building and managing data integrations between an EPM platform and external systems like NetSuite, Salesforce, or HRIS/headcount tools (e.g., TeamOhana, Workday).

• Familiarity with SQL and a solid comprehension of data flows, integrations, and governance within finance systems.

• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to train and empower non-technical business partners to develop their own models, dashboards, and reports.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a history of ensuring data integrity and system accuracy at scale.

• A genuine interest and practical experience in applying AI and automation tools to finance workflows, along with the curiosity and initiative to develop new use cases.
